Tuning Cheat Settings Per Game: Smoothness, FOV and the Human Range

Why One Size Does Not Fit

Aim speed and target size change wildly between games. A setting that looks human in a slow tactical shooter can look suspicious in a fast arena game where targets are smaller and movements quicker. Copying one config across every title is the fastest way to stand out for the wrong reason.

Treat each game as its own tuning problem. The goal is the same everywhere: a config that behaves like a strong human player in that specific title.

Smoothness Is the Key Variable

Smoothness controls how quickly the aim moves to a target. Too fast and the crosshair snaps, which reads as machine. Too slow and you miss. The right value sits between: smooth enough to look like a practiced flick, responsive enough to be useful. The hand-eye range is narrower than most players think.

A good rule is to keep smoothness high enough that the travel never looks instant, then adjust from there based on the game's own feel.

FOV Limits the Obviousness

Field of view, or FOV, decides how far from the crosshair the aimbot will correct. A wide FOV locks onto targets the player could not reasonably have seen, which is a tell. A tight FOV only assists near-misses, which looks far more natural.

In a game with tiny, fast targets, a tight FOV is safer. In a game with larger targets, you can widen it a little. The point is to keep corrections within what a real player would plausibly handle.

Reaction Delay Sells the Illusion

Real humans do not react in zero milliseconds. They take a beat to process what they see. Adding a small, random delay before the aim engages keeps your timing inside a human window. This is the single cheapest way to make a config read as natural.

Delay should be randomised just enough that it does not look robotic. A fixed number is a pattern; a small range is a person.

A Per-Game Tuning Routine

Tune in an offline or low-stakes mode first. Set a baseline, run a few sessions, and read the results: are you landing shots that look questionably perfect?
